she nods, kissing him back before pulling away a little, “I’m not a human Ryder…and what just happened happens to me alot.” She said quietly, biting her lip. “You don’t need to be at risk like that.”She nods slowly, “I’m sorry.” She mutters, then walks from him heading for his car.She shrugs, “So? I just killed someone…and you’re not having the slightest bit of reaction a sane person would.” She said crossing her arms over her chest. She bit her lip as they headed back towards his car, and she ignored the tension in the air. He had just seen her kill someone, and he wasnt running away. “Do you have some death wish or something I should be concerned about?” she asks, stopping in front of him.She nods slowly taking a breath as she tries to collect herself, “You didn’t need to see that.” She murmurs pulling away. “We should leave…before more come to collect their friend.” She says, not wanting to look him in the face. She was never ashamed of the things she had done, but now she was, she didn’t want him to see her like that.
He nods, pressing his lips to hers for a moment before taking her hand and leading her back to his car. He couldn’t stop the images from replaying in his head. He knew he should be scared of her, and he was a little bit but his worry for her safety overrode it.
He raises an eyebrow. “Do you plan on killing me too?” he counters, meeting her eyes. “He was trying to kill you, I don’t think just letting him off easy would mean he’d have the same type of courtesy.”
“I think I’m still in shock, give it an hour or two,” he says, pursing his lips, knowing he’d end up freaking out at some point.
He sighs, gripping her wrist and pulling her towards him again, cupping her face and kissing her deeply. “I haven’t freaked out yet,” he murmurs, kissing her again.
She shrugs, “Any where, we could go to a hotel, or a club, which ever you prefer.”
“Like what?” he asks, slowing at a red light and looking over at her.
